Loretta Shunamon
I started my yoga practice over 12 years ago. My first class was Bikram Hot Yoga. I soon started to try other forms of Yoga and Baptiste Vinyasa Flow was another style I fell in love with. I made the leap to become a certified Bikram and Baptiste teacher in the same year. After 3 three months of intensive, all consuming Bikram training, I became certified. Three months later I was in the Baptiste training program and that lead me to many years of continued training programs, bootcamps, and workshops like the Art of Assisting. Yoga is still my life and my first love. I continue to practice and study this amazing form of union.

Christa Steeves
Christa is a RYT 200 and Certified Meditation teacher as well as a mental health advocate and speaker. She is a compassionate and intuitive teacher who helps students discover their own practice by making yoga accessible, in order to support and sustain oneself, no matter age, fitness, size, shape, wellness, or flexibility. For Christa, yoga is about the union of mind, body and spirit. A way of finding space and stillness between the commotion of our thoughts and the restlessness of our body, which keeps us from connecting to our breath and self. It is journey inward, an act of being rather than doing. Christa’s teaching focus is to help people find ease of movement, stillness of mind, and connection to breath and self by meeting them where they are; to bring yoga to people who may feel “yoga is not for me"; and, to share yoga with those who live with trauma and mental health illness. Christa lives her yoga, incorporating teachings in her and her family's everyday life. Christa truly enjoys the little things because they are the big things and is soaking in the journey while living with a chronic mental health illness.
